| Phoebe is our third foal by Aurum Rivière d'Or. Her sire is certainly throwing type very strongly. She is beautifully conformed with strong bone and is very uphill. Like her sisters Polly and Patty she is completely unflappable, very personable and very bold. She has outstanding movement of course and with her mix of strong dressage and jumping lines is likely to excel in either area. Her natural athleticism is breathtaking. Her sire Rivière d'Or is a son of the outstanding Grand Prix dressage horse Regardez Moi and via him enjoys a lineage including some of the greatest dressage names such as Rubinstein, Donnerhall and Consul. Rivière d'Or is currently training in dressage and learning at an astonishingly rapid pace. Rivière d'Or has a pedigree which includes some outstanding jumping lines as well through his dam and in fact his sire Regardez Moi has sired several good eventers as well. This makes us supremely confident of Phoebe's future as a top eventer. Phoebe's dam is Family Ties daughter Natheira. Family Ties is a well known line which has produced a large number of succesful showjumpers and eventers, several of which have gone overseas such as Eros (USA) and competed at international levels. Notable Family Ties horses in Australia are 4 star eventer King George, ridden by both Nick Roe and Shane Rose, The Kings Romance (3 star with Ian Balfour), Liaisons (Vicki Roycroft) and Coastal Ties (Vanda Morgan). |
